EAST tour and SOL open house

Make plans either this weekend or next to take part in EAST, the annual East Austin Studio Tour. Artists and craftsmen all over Austin's east side open their studios to the public, galleries have special events and parties and even architects and builders host open houses. It's truly a great showcase of what talent lies in the wonderfully funky east side of the city.

Threshold is teaming up with two of our wonderful furniture designers we represent in our showroom as part of EAST. First, the talented Michael Yates is teaming up with three other artists for a group show at the amazing Dragonfly House. We're going to add a few small furniture pieces and accessories to accentuate Michael's beautiful work.

Our other collaboration for EAST is with our favorite vintage furniture makeover guru Veronica Koltuniak of Verokolt. As part of the tour she decorated (using pieces from Threshold) one of the homes at the highly-anticipated Sol, the newest development by KRDB. Chris Krager's team is the incredible design/build firm that pioneered the trend in affordable, green, modern living in Austin.
